Visva-Bharati observed Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 from 27 October to 03 November 2025 with great enthusiasm and active participation from its faculty members, students, and staff. The theme for this year’s observance was “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility.” The week-long programme was inaugurated by Dr. Probir Kumar Ghosh, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Visva-Bharati, in the august presence of the Registrar, Visva-Bharati, Director, Rabindra Bhavana and other eminent dignitaries, officers, and scholars. In his introductory speech Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor administered the Integrity Pledge and emphasized the importance of integrity, transparency, and accountability in both personal and professional life. He encouraged all members of the Visva-Bharati community to uphold ethical values and contribute actively towards building a corruption-free society, aligning with the national theme “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility.” As part of the observance, a series of enlightening lectures and interactive sessions were organized to spread awareness about integrity, transparency, and ethical conduct in public life.
