INTEGRATED SCIENCE EDUCATION AND RESEARCH CENTRE (ISERC)

The centre was established in the year 2008 on the recommendation of a high-level committee appointed by The Paridarśaka (Visitor) of Visva-Bharati and The President of India in 2006. The Five-Year Integrated M.Sc. programme was started in 2009 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and over the time expanded to offer Life Science a well as Earth and Environmental Science as major subjects. The centre was shifted to its new building in 2014 and its infrastructure has been developing continuously since then. Presently it is a DST-FIST supported centre with advanced research facilities.
