Programmes Offered

Under Graduate Course: Four Year Undergraduate Programme - Chinese (Major)

The admission will strictly be in order of merit of CUET (UG)-2025 score.

  1. UR and OBC-NCL Candidates: Passed Higher Secondary Examination under 10+2 patterns or its equivalent, subject to fulfillment of the requirements for subject combinations and marks in respect of the department concerned as shown in the following table.
  2. SC & ST Candidates: Passed Higher Secondary Examination under 10+2 pattern or its equivalent, subject to fulfillment of the requirement regarding subject combinations of the department concerned.

 

Eligibility Criteria:

  • UR & EWS: 60% marks in aggregate and 60% marks in English at the 10+2 level.
  • OBC-NCL: 54% marks in aggregate and 54% marks in English at the 10+2 level. 
  • SC & ST: Passed in 10+2 level or equivalent

  • 50 in UG

Syllabus:

 

  • UR, EWS & OBC-NCL Candidates: Honours Graduates of recognized universities under the 10+2+3 pattern or its equivalent in relevant discipline are eligible to apply for admission, subject to fulfillment of departmental criteria (separate for UR and OBC-NCL candidates) as detailed on the table below.
  • SC & ST Candidates: Honours graduates of recognized universities under 10+2+3 patterns or its equivalent.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • UR & EWS: Honours in Chinese with 55% marks in aggregate;
  • OBC-NCL: Honours in Chinese with 49.5% marks in aggregate.
  • SC & ST: Passed in concerned subject.
