FOREIGN STUDENTS ORIENTED ACTIVITIES
Indira Gandhi Centre for National Integration (IGCNI) has housed the Foreign Students’ Assistance Cell (FSAC) since 2014. The office staffs of IGCNI look after the day to day official works of FSAC. The FSAC deals with foreign students’ vital matters related to-
- Uploading Foreign Students Information System (S-Form) in the portal (indianfrro.gov.in) of the Foreigner Regional Registration Office (FRRO).
- Passport renewal.
- Visa extension and issuance of new visa.
- Joining reports of the ICCR scholars.
- Quarterly academic progress report of the foreign students.
Keeping active connections with the offices of Indian High Commission in different foreign countries, ICCR in Kolkata & Delhi, Director of the Intelligence Bureau (DIB), Suri, Birbhum and Foreigner Registration Office (FRO) in Suri, Birbhum.
