The International conference titled Third Computational Intelligence in Communications and Business Analytics aimed to carry together researchers, engineers, developers and practitioners from academia and industry working in all major areas and interdisciplinary areas of computational intelligence, communications, and analytics to share their experience, and exchange and synthesize their ideas. CICBA 2021 has been organized by Department of Computer & System Sciences, Visva-Bharati University, during January 7-9, 2021.
- 16 to 18.09.2021:
The 2021 IEEE CIS Summer School on Contemporary Advancement in Multi-Objective Optimization (CAMOO) was held virtually from 16–18 September 2021, hosted by the Department of Computer and System Sciences, Visva-Bharati. The event focused on real-world multi-objective optimization problems and their theoretical and practical challenges. Renowned speakers included Prof. Kalyanmoy Deb, Prof. Chia-Feng Juang, Prof. Sanaz Mostaghim, Prof. Alice Smith, Prof. Tapabrata Ray, and Prof. Carlos Coello Coello.
- 12 to 16.02.2020: A five-day workshop on “Application of Python in Big Data, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Social Network Analysis (SNA)” was organized at Department of Computer and System Sciences, Visva-Bharati from 12th to 16th February, 2020 in technical collaboration with IEEE Computational Intelligence Society, Kolkata Chapter. The event brought together 34 faculty members, researchers, and students from all over India to participate in the workshop. The participants were faculty members, researchers, and students from science and engineering background.
