Programmes offered

The Department of zoology offers Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Ph.D Courses. The 4-year undergraduate course in zoology (Eight semesters) has been structured as per NEP 2020. It also includes Minor and Multidisciplinary courses related to Zoology. The department also offers Internship Programmes related to zoology every year at undergraduate level.

The department offers a 2-year Postgraduate course (Four semester), M.Sc. in Zoology which has been structured as per CBCS. The courses has been designed in a way they can benefit the students prepare for national level examinations like CSIR-UGC NET, GATE, DBT-NET, etc.

The department also offers Ph.D in Zoology which includes a Ph.D. Course work which has been structured as per UGC. Ph.D. students accomplish their research work in different frontiers of zoology under the supervision of different faculty members of the department.
