On 29 August 2025, CJMC, Vidya-Bhavana, organised "Frames of Expression": a personal development training session for its MA Semester I students, helping them embark on a journey of self-discovery and growth. Through simple yet creative exercises using pen, pencil and colours, students explored their personalities in a deeply engaging way. They reflected on their strengths and challenges, visualised their behavioural patterns and discussed how these traits influence their communication styles and leadership potential. What began as an activity soon became an immersive process of introspection and dialogue, encouraging students to see themselves differently and set personal goals for improvement. This initiative resonates strongly with NEP 2020’s vision of nurturing critical thinking, emotional intelligence and lifelong learning skills. By blending introspection with creativity, CJMC aims to prepare its budding communicators to step into the communication world not just as skilled professionals but as empathetic, confident and responsible individuals, ready to lead, inspire and make a difference.

Rooted in Visva-Bharati’s ethos of harmony, inclusivity and shared learning, the gathering truly reflected the spirit of belonging and togetherness that defines CJMC. From homemade delicacies to shared laughter and heartfelt stories, it was more than just a meal — it was an opportunity to connect beyond classrooms, celebrate diversity and create lasting memories as one academic family. With around eighty participants — including students, faculty, research scholars and non-teaching staff — the event brought together an impressive spread of over 50 dishes, carrying flavours from different corners of India and symbolising the vibrant mosaic of CJMC’s community.
