Under Graduate Course: Four Year Undergraduate Programme - Hindi (Major)
The admission will strictly be in order of merit of CUET (UG)-2025 score.
- UR and OBC-NCL Candidates: Passed Higher Secondary Examination under 10+2 patterns or its equivalent, subject to fulfillment of the requirements for subject combinations and marks in respect of the department concerned as shown in the following table.
- SC & ST Candidates: Passed Higher Secondary Examination under 10+2 pattern or its equivalent, subject to fulfillment of the requirement regarding subject combinations of the department concerned.
Eligibility Criteria:
- UR & EWS: 45% marks in aggregate and 45% marks in Hindi at least (half paper 50 marks) at the 10+2 level.
- OBC-NCL: 40.5% marks in aggregate and 40.5% marks in Hindi at least (half paper 50 marks) at the 10+2 level.
- SC & ST: Passed in 10+2 level or equivalent

Post Graduate Course: M.A. (Master of Arts)
- UR, EWS & OBC-NCL Candidates: Honours Graduates of recognized universities under the 10+2+3 pattern or its equivalent in relevant discipline are eligible to apply for admission, subject to fulfillment of departmental criteria (separate for UR and OBC-NCL candidates) as detailed on the table below.
- SC & ST Candidates: Honours graduates of recognized universities under 10+2+3 patterns or its equivalent.
Eligibility Criteria:
- UR & EWS: Honours in Chinese with 45% marks in aggregate;
- OBC-NCL: Honours in Chinese with 40.5% marks in aggregate.
- SC & ST: Passed in concerned subject.
