RESEARCH AREA

Her entire thesis work  was sponsored by agencies like CSIR, DAE, UGC of India and Atomic Energy Commission of France.  
After joining Visva-Bharati University from a Engineering University (BITS-Pilani, Rajasthan-India) took up the work of  developing a laboratory for material research which was achieved in year 2008 and consequently installed  ‘Positron Annihilation Lifetime Spectroscopy’ ‘Isochronal Annealing System’ ‘Differential Scanning Calorimeter’ ‘ Raman Spectroscopy’ after having sponsorships from SERC-DST, BRNS-DAE, UGC all leading research funding agencies of Government of India.
The said laboratory is at use by five research scholars at present.
Her published  works were cited  186 times by different theory and experimental physics, chemistry  and engineering  groups including a citation by a ‘Springer’ published book and by the Ministry of Energy & Atomic Energy Commission , Government of USA .
